PERKINS company is the Slovak producer and distributor of mayonnaise; tartar sauces; ketchup; delicatessen salads; fish products and cooled pasta.
PERKINS company was established on July 10 1992 and it has been operating successfully at the Slovak market for eleven years.
The establishment of the company is connected with the small privatisation of the Delicatessen operation of Zdroj Poprad company.
At that time the company had 20 employees and its annual sales were SKK 6.000.000
In 2000, total revenues ranged about SKK 174 million and they were contributed to by 190 employees.
At present 190 employees are working for the company in its new own facilities with the total area of 3.500 m².
Its basic production includes various kinds of mayonnaise and tartar sauce. The own production of mayonnaise is used for preparing more than 30 sorts of delicatessen salads.
Ketchup, aspic and cooled filled pasta, fish delicatessen, salads and collared herrings are our additional production articles.
The complete assortment of our products consists of 150 items.
Company standards resp. company directives have been elaborated for all our products. The company has the quality assurance system – HACCP, through which quality and health harmlessness of the entire production process is ensured.
HACCP system verification is provided by means of testing (microbiological analysis) incoming materials; as well as finished products. Testing in our own laboratory is done on daily basis and at the same time samples are sent to an accredited laboratory.
The production process itself is mostly automated. The company has bought a top foreign technology for production of mayonnaise; tartar sauces and ketchup. We also have at our disposal fully automated packaging lines for packaging small amounts of mayonnaise and delicatessen products for small customers.
At present our company distributes products by its own refrigerated vehicles of Renault make. Distribution is realised by direct deliveries to customers. To provide more flexible distribution within the Western Slovak region; the company founded its own re-distribution store in the town of TrenÄ?Ćn.
Perkins products can be found everywhere throughout Slovakia. We deliver them to both Slovak and foreign chains. In addition; our products are delivered to retail outlets; buffets; factory canteens; fast food services as well as to delicatessen production operations.
We have prepared novelties of every assortment; gustations and various competitions for our customers and consumers.
We follow an old and common slogan: “Our customer - our master!”
